Quiet Moments and Holy Places

In a world where we all seem to be so busy, it is refreshing to be inspired by someone who takes the time to be aware of what God is doing. This refreshing volume of devotionals draws from classical categories of spiritual formation which Belcher enriches by heart-warming person experiences. He has a splendid capacity to see eternal overtones in ordinary events, and he captures the spiritual realities often hidden in the material dimension of our daily existence.

Chasing Dinosaurs

Midlife is that elusive time when both past and future seem beyond our grasp. Cherished memories of youth grow dim and career ambitions vanish before our eyes. Maneuvering through the middle years often proves as futile as chasing dinosaurs. Jim Belcher, philosopher, poet and pastor, believes the middle years can be a time of healing and growth when we come to grips with the agendas that confront us. In this volume the author moves from regret and disillusionment to acceptance and contentment as he recalls lost opportunities of youth and courageously faces the adult issues of career, marriage and family.
