| Bring Food to church. This food is placed in the food pantry to help feed the hungry in Baldwin County. June is the LUMC month to help restock the Food Pantry shelves. LUMC has always done a fantastic job of supporting this ministry. |
| Donate your time to help distribute the food from the food pantry. |
| Bring Clothing to church. This clothing is placed in the used clothing store in Foley to clothe people at reasonable cost. |
| Donate your time to work as a clerk in the clothing store, the "Clothes Closet." |
| Donate your money designated to go to missions. The United Methodist Church makes sure that 100% of your donation is received by those in need. The cost of administration and overhead comes from the general funds that support the church. Your money goes where you send it. That is a much better record than most charities. |
| Recycle! There is a community recycling bin located at the Lillian Community Club. Separate out your cardboard, aluminum and paper so that it can be used again. Using recyclable materials conserves natural resources and energy! |
| Help the Family Ministry Team. This team needs occasional help with its work. Can you help with bereavement meals, meals for shut-ins, or help host a fellowship meal? Contact the office to let us know that you can help. You can contact the Church office by e-mailing us with any questions. |
| Volunteer to help at the Beverly Convalescent Home. They need volunteers to read to patients, answer the phone, do nails, garden, lead wheelchair exercises, fill water pitchers and more. If you are interested, please call Betty, the Activities Director, at 943-2781. No reasonable offer will be refused! |
